St. Thomas Church is an historic, suburban congregation of 487 members, located near the foot of BlueMountain, along Pa. Route 39, 1/2 mile east of historic Linglestown village, and 9 miles northeast of the state capital.
We witness to freedom and unity in Christ, responsibility of the individual believer, autonomy of the local congregation, the importance of worship and preaching, and, by God’s grace, continual transformation of church and society.
The United Church of Christ includes about 6000 local congregations and 1.1 million members. Its heritage is rooted in German religious history, English Puritanism, and American frontier revivalism. The United Church of Christ takes seriously Christ’s prayer “that they may all be one.”
